Broadcom wl driver in repository?

Post by dcung »

Using b43 driver (for bcm43xx), I was experiencing wifi problems during video streaming. This went away after I used wl driver.

I was using FossaDog and to install it, I found that I can run:

Code: Select all

apt-get --reinstall install bcmwl-kernel-source

In repositories - Is there Broadcom wl driver in any of those 3 Dogs mentioned below?
BusterDog
Bullseye
StretchDog

In Debian, install linux-headers matching with your kernel, and:
apt install broadcom-sta-dkms

The combo-wifi-driver-pack for the Bullseye Starter Kit contains the wl driver.

Worked on all 3. Thanks Fred.
