How not to delete a desktop drive icon

Ever delete a desktop drive icon, by right clicking on icon?

All you wanted to do was access the right click menu.

It is very easy to have the right click menu open and accidentally hit "remove item".
Why?
Because that is what the mouse pointer usually is over, "remove item".

Try to put the mouse pointer at a different location on the icon.
So the right click menu opens and "remove item" is not selected.

that's why I locked my desktop icons in general.

I have some RoxApps with huge menus being icons on the desktop and sometimes the mouse cursor is over the remove item entry of such a menu.

And that's why the JWM Right Click Substitute by default adds locked icons to the desktop.

Since there's more often accidentally removing of icons from the desktop than accidentally adding icons to the desktop.
