For a test I have turned on the rewrite mechanisms that handle links to murga-linux.com/puppy and redirect them correctly to oldforum.puppylinux.
Careful observations will determine if we can turn on this feature again and not be overwhelmed by the Knowledge AI spider coming through the http of murga-linux. It is a definite advantage to have all the old links to murga-linux.com/puppy connect to the correct pages.
If page requests made by this spider become overwhelming and flooding the server with orphaned processes the rewrite engine will be shut down again.
So far so good. It's been several hours and no sign of the spider.
Also according the Google analytics this page has been getting big numbers in search queries
