Booting KLV directly via its ISO file

Post by Clarity »

By now, all of us know the benefit to this as it affords ALL of the same advantages of other means to booting.

But, I an curious and seek ideas to what is seen from the base system upon desktop/

Scenario:

  1. Boot via its ISO file, selecting RAM0 from the boot Menu, to desktop

  2. Open a terminal to see system's mounts

  3. The system has the boot device, SDB1 listed TWICE, "LOCKED"

Note: NO changes to the Menu's stanza to boot RAM0.

Questions:

  • Should it be locked at pristine RAM0 desktop?

  • Is there a way to release the booted SDB1?

Curious

2nd ISSUE found in this RAM0 pristine boot
Upon shutdown, the system hangs in console at the last message
[...,...] kvm: exiting hardware virtualization

To recap: Only repo apps installed are BTOP, SAMBA, Chromium, & QEMU. QEMU was never run/tested.

Other than the items mentioned, the system desktop operations were flawless.

Forced to poweroff via switch.
