There are many such images in directory and there is another significantly smaller version of rox-filer in X-Tahr's PPM package list: rox-filer-2015.02-i686.pet.

Eyes can be overlayed with thumbnails but obviously they're still there and intentionally.

Is it playful and trustworthy to put a light-skinned man with light eyes at stark attention on all your image thumbnails in Ubuntu Linux?

Someone would have to convince me. A dark man would be bad enough.

The smaller package works just fine.

That seems to be taking political correctness to an extreme. Is there someone in particular you're aiming this at?

An action can have multiple intentions, and those intentions can be distorted by propaganda and public discourse, which in turn can have a radical effect both on how they are perceived and the response.

How many hands a package goes through before it winds up in a repository is for those in on it, but I would direct this at the hand that thought this was a good idea and whomever has the power to remove the package.

The .pet is safer.
