Re: FrugalPup v41, very flexible Puppy frugal installer, supporting i18n

Jasper That image from Gparted is about file systems (formats) it supports and what it can do with them. So it is not exactly how a Puppy version will support the format. But it is a general info on it. A good place to see if some support software is needed for better support of the format (file sy...

What you read and how you understand it,

May or may not be what I wanted you to understand or how to understand it.

The drive partition must first be mounted to be a selection in the destination drop down menu.

It will only list already mounted locations.

Tried to boot it but it fails and lands on the grub prompt.

Does it provide any info at all?

Try this:
Access the computers bios setup.

If it has option to disable secure boot do that.

Also look for anything about fast boot and disable that.

If you want the Linux OS you produce to be on DistroWatch.

Then you should submit it to them.

That simple.

How do you think Easy OS and Fatdog64 got posted to DistroWatch.

Do wonder why Fatdog64 is not at least in the top 100 page hit ranking :?:

pet and sfs are different ways to package software. A pet package is a Puppy packaging method to provide software to install into the Puppy OS. Download the pet package. 2GB of RAM is enough to operate with. As long as you only run one program at a time. I run Puppy Linux on computers with 2GB of RAM with no issues. There are several 32bit versions of Puppy Linux and it does make a difference how you can use them.
