Are Subscription Emails Coming Through?

Post by rockedge »

Some settings need to adjusting involving cron jobs that do jobs like to send emails for subscriptions, in the background. It's hard for me to test accurately if the configurations are correct.

So please post if topic subscription email notices are working or not!

I can send test emails from the board to myself that works fine but that is a manual trigger.

Hi @rockedge

I have the feeling that some are and some aren't ........... difficult to be certain but for instance I got an email for:

I also have the feeling that the "New posts" list is not resetting the way it used to - it seems to just get longer and longer.....

Thanks as always for your efforts in keeping the forum going.....
Cheers

@peebee Have you tried to delete the board's cookies from the delete cookies selection at the bottom of the home page? Also I had to logout and login after clearing the cache and cookies.

Though I can not tell for sure, but the new posts filter might be working again for me. I'll keep fiddling with it.

Never noticed that button before!!!

Clicking it and then logging back in certainly clears the list.

Thanks

Are emails coming through at all? I am looking to determine if the background jobs are being done on schedule.
