Hello everyone
I am testing Raspup on my rasperry pi 3, the installation worked well and connection to the wifi ok, however when I open the Midori browser that comes by default I cannot open https web pages
Send the following message:
Midori can't find the page you're looking for
The page located at ducduckgo.com cannt be founded
Check address for misspelled words and try again
Unacceptable TLS certificate

I appreciate your comments
thanks

Did you make sure the time is set correctly?
That is the simplest place to start

correct, set the time for UTC automatic update

I have just had this same problem with palemoon where every single https:// page would report the certificate was bad.

The solution WAS a time correction BUT the date had been reset to 2013 for some weird reason, so...make sure the year is correct as well. :-)

Try setting the time this way:
viewtopic.php?p=27231#p27231

I just did 3 lines from the command line
# date --set YYYY-MM-DD (put todays date in there)
# date --set HH:MM:SS (put the time now in there)
# hwclock -w (will update the hardware clock to the date in system clock)

I would just type 'date' to find the time
and if it seemed reasonable I would look for another reason.

You have misspelled it though. The page is duckduckgo.com, not ducduckgo.com

hwclock -w (will update the hardware clock to the date in system clock)

Raspberry Pi computers do not have hardware clocks.

That is why you have to get time from a time server connection on the internet.

Midori could be the problem.

I use the Firefox ESR SFS package loaded and use Firefox browser.

There are also several SFS packages for very large programs, including Firefox ESR, Vivaldi and Chromium browsers and Libre Office
which are easy to install with SFS Manager tool which takes care of installing them. Look for it in the Setup menu.
