Just an fyi HardInfo shows info for everything except my Hard drive. It is a old spinning platter type and I read somewhere HardInfo should show info on this type of drive. However the storage sections are empty.

Here is the info on my hard disk

lsblk -S
NAME HCTL       TYPE VENDOR   MODEL                      REV SERIAL                    TRAN
sda  0:0:0:0    disk ATA      ST3160318AS               CC44 9VY25LGK                  sata

Try to install udisks2 and restart hardinfo.

@dimkr Installing udisk2 worked. Hardinfo now shows storage info.
fyi install from the command line failed with unable to find package. However Synaptic found it no problem.
