Seamonkey Scrolling Difficult and Buttons Gone-- Try This

Post by vtpup »

Thanks to Barry :

Add

Code: Select all

gtk-primary-button-warps-slider = false

to root/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini

and add:

Code: Select all

scrollbar {
-GtkScrollbar-has-backward-stepper: true;
-GtkScrollbar-has-forward-stepper: true;
}

to root/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css

The first change will re-enable clicking on the scroll bar and moving only a page at a time (instead of all the way to the end).

The second will add missing scroll arrow buttons back. This affects not only Seamonkey, but also late Open Office, and any other program that uses gtk3.

Horses for courses. Must be summat wrong with me, then....

I actually LIKE this new 'zilla behaviour where a click on the bottom of the scroll-bar literally takes you to the very bottom of the page. Good job we're all different, ain't it? :D

Mike. ;)
