BPFdoor Linux malware bypasses firewalls

Post by mikewalsh »

Found this in the "Security" section of the BleepingComputer News a little while ago:-

"BPFdoor: Stealthy Linux malware bypasses firewalls for remote access"

.....and it seems there's very little can be done about it. It's a clever little bugger, too.....with all sorts of tricks up its sleeve. :o

I noticed that, too. No mention of it.....but it does seem to be targeted more at enterprise set-ups, especially those in the telecoms sector.

That is odd. I guess they don't know, but rather than say that, they just didn't mention it.
