Pulseaudio implemented in EasyOS

Post by BarryK »

I have posted in this other thread, where forum member step has implemented pulseaudio in Fatdog:

Maybe you should try https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/pa-applet - it's a Puppy fork of pa-applet, which doesn't depend on libnotify, and supports both GTK+ 2 and GTK+ 3.

It should be much lighter and smaller than the alternatives - you can see it in action in Vanilla Dpup (http://forum.puppylinux.com/viewtopic.php?t=4093).

@dimkr
Thanks very much for that link, I had overlooked pa-applet, good that you are maintaining it for Puppy.

Another update, I found it very easy to get audio working in containers:

I decided to go for your pa-applet in the next release of Easy:
