because i want finn to use anydesk without chrome, i created a second save file, one for each user. as root, i deleted and re-installed chrome [permissions 444] and ff. did updates, ran apulse. retrovol test=ok, shows Master volume check and full on. select Alsa Mixer, Master is shown much less volume, and red. set soundcard0 to HDMI0, no sound, set equalizer to soundcard0 HDMI0 TEST SILENCE. cannot un-red master in alsa mixer. solutions pls?

Restored chrome permissions under root to 734, savefie, and under finn, removed chrome icon.
