Post by peppyy »

Good morning, when I started my computer this morning I was greeted with this screen.

Sorry about the poor quality photo ;)
I tried to understand all the jargon but decided it was better to power off and boot live.
I ran a file check on the boot and second partition (Where Fossa64 lives) then decided to come here and see if anyone has any ideas what might have happened?

Was the Fossapup64 live USB plugged in when you booted?
If yes.
Try booting with no USB plugged in.

How exactly is Fossapup64 installed on computer?
Specific details?
What kind of save are you using, File or folder?
What format is the partition Fossapup64 is installed on?

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

EDIT. Never mind I am back ;) I ran gparted and ran a check on the drive and everything is working again.

SSD with fat32 boot partition, A secondary 120gb ext4 partition with a frugal install of fossapup 64 9.05 with a fossa save file.

I am currently running live from cd in ram to post and see if I can find any clues.
I am about to remove the cd and try to boot normally again.
