Pupsave Backup not using selected location to store backup

Post by bigpup »

Fossapup64 9.5
Frugal+save folder
Latest Fossapup updates

Pupsave Backup program

If you select a different location to put the backup.
It says it is used when the process completes, but the backup is placed in the default location.
/mnt/home/name of the frugal install directory

All other options seem to work OK and it does make a good working backup of the save.

Update:
This seems to happen if you select to compress the backup.
If you do not compress, it will store at location you select.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

I confirm. And remember that it was the same in Bionicpup. At that moment I was using a third-party backup program, so I forgot to ask about it on the forum.

Fossapup OS, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 64 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB, Sound Blaster Audigy Rx with amplifier + Yamaha speakers for loud sound, USB Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro V3 + headphones for quiet sound.

Perhaps something needs to be changed starting at line 193 in /usr/sbin/pupsave-backup file.
