CUPS not working, only "Internal Server Error"

Post by fernan »

Hello.
Bionicpup 64, frugal install, using a bootable CD to dual boot a Windows machine, bionicpup64save.3fs, initrd.gz, vmlinuz, zdrv_bionicpup64_8.0.sfs and puppy_bionicpup64_8.0.sfs in the NTFS hard drive.

My CUPS seems to be corrupt, damaged, or something. Accessing to localhost:631 from a web browser shows a home page, but when I try to open any link, I get an "Internal Server Error"...

I have error logs if they can help to trace the problem. They refer to "permission denied" in some lines.

If I boot a fresh session, pfix=ram, CUPS works fine.

I`d like to completely wipe CUPS and replace it with the original default setup present in the RAM session, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Could you post the log? I recall fixing it but it has been a long time...

Thanks for tour answer.

I have the server running now, I don't remember how I fixed it, probably deleted the whole pupsave file, or deleted every folder related to CUPS inside the pupsave file.
