What bluez version did you installed? What puppy did you use?

BT? Nah. Hit or miss dependent upon distro.

Cabled audio is WAY easier... the cost of a cable.

Seriously, a "NO brainer."

cable audio op blown up. have no choice. have downloaded blues-alsa-master, but cant make/make install it.

ppl asking abt hard ways o doing things have often exhausted the easy ones, and just want solutions they've requested, not unhelpful comments.

"You have no choice?" Quite possible.

No BT -- NO audio.

BT aboard other distros is reasonably straightforward.

Pup's not one of'm.

Fine. You leave me no choice but to step aside and let the suggestions avalanche.

Then install pulseaudio and pavucontrol. Make sure that pulseaudio is running on boot. The connected Bluetooth audio device will handle it automatically otherwise set it on pavucontrol

Does all dependencies of pulseaudio was installed? Make sure that pulseaudio was running

Also when the bluetooth speaker was paired and appeared on pBluetooth. Did you click CONNECT/DISCONNECT?
