v10.0.6m will replace this.
Also made a more generic CPU temp1 data display (some cpus didn't like my previous one). Has Utility menu entry.

@Jasper - re- the 5.15.131 aoum kernel, the rtl8821ce wifi driver is showing 0 downloads - you need this particular pet installed to get wifi: https://www.mediafire.com/file/i5st9u2d ... m.pet/file
Was not able to compile wl in Jammypup32. Code was either too old or 64bit only, despite several attempts.
Those cards need the wl driver, which has to be compiled for the kernel being used. jammypup32 (22.04-240208) is not usrmerge, so my 5.10.189 32bit kernel (in forum Kernels section) has a driver (in forum Drivers section).
@wizard @Marv - this wireless driver is available in kernels 6.2 on, but must be compiled in. I didn't do that, but will make a 6.7 usrmerge kernel in the next few hours, with the rtw89 drivers.
@wizard LATER: Usrmerge Kernel 6.7.5 is in forum Kernels section.
V4 released - see 1st post.
@wizard -
did have to copy the .ko files into /lib/modules/6.1.67 before modprobe would find them
Ah, so you are running bookworm as non-usrmerge? This .pet has .ko's in /usr/lib/modules, as per usrmerge.
@peebee - maybe this .deb? Can you revert it?
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 34914 Feb 13 14:28 gsettings-desktop-schemas_46beta-1ubuntu1_all.deb
And for a terminal command, maybe: ldd /usr/libexec/Xorg
@mmmrr excellent & good pickup by @bigpup . That .deb overcomes the glibc deficiency, being compiled to suit.
@mmmrr - I looked at the original bionicpup32, which has Light browser as it's a adrv. Also checked puppy .sfs - no mention of palemoon. Try a fresh install, then delete adrv .sfs, then reboot & load the .pet.
For those wondering why our prolific cobber, mikewalsh has been quiet for over a week, poor fella has a bad case of flu. But he's on the mend!
@Clarity , @Dry Falls - check your pm's re- possible 3e.
@Clarity - this function works ok in aufs, but less so (in my view) for overlayfs. I was planning to possibly work on a march 2024 s15pup. In the interim I'll see if I can improve on my earlier attempts, including looking at other s15pups.
As our aufs man is back on deck, the urgency is less.
Version 3d (iso & delta) released. See 1st post. Locks out gui sfs load - I attempted to fix that in v3c, but decided it needed more work.
@jamesbond - thanks - I would have been surprised if you could have both, as in some other config situations, one would be '=m', but I see you can toggle the setting regardless of which is builtin. Have to say I don't see much memory-use difference.
@jamesbond - ok, now I'm confused. I compiled 6.1.74 today with madvise=y & always 'not set' - seems faster (I have 12Gb ram). Can you have both options as '=y' ?
@fatdoguser - my latest kernels have that 'not set' & CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGEPAGE_ALWAYS=y set. I'm guessing those 2 should be reversed in your scenario?
