Re: Trying to boot MS-DOS

Booting MS-DOS is similar to booting Windows. MS-DOS will need to go on a FAT16 or something like that partition that is dedicated for MS-DOS. Look around at this example, it might help. I just run DOSBox or DOSBox-x, which are both excellent choices these days for ease of getting into a DOS system...

Solus XFCE - beta

Hi,
I used Solus Budgie on my laptop for a long time but I abandoned it because the support became problematic. I recently reinstalled the latest version with XFCE, even if it is the beta version. Solus seems to be getting better! :thumbup2:

Nouvelles moutures de Puppy

Bonjour à tous,

Opinion personnelle;
«Exit» toutes ces nouvelles versions obèses, lentes, multilingues, «buggées» et affublées de bureaux ésotériques. Ces versions mutantes me font saigner du nez. :shock:
Vivement les vieilles versions de Puppy!

Sans rancunes et bon 2024 à tous! :thumbup2:

Re: EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.4.1

I know that we need to take the ranking at Distrowatch with a grain of salt. EasyOS is usually at around 20 - 22, but when a new version announced, goes up for awhile, then sinks down. Right now, the 7-day ranking is 12: https://distrowatch.com/index.php?dataspan=1 Still has an upward trend, so wil...

@bigpup
I could never have started with Puppy Linux as my first distribution. I took my experience with Linux Mint. And already with this distribution, there is a learning curve to climb slowly. Need to be a bit more experienced to use Puppy.
