after first boot,setting to 1440X900:

right click -> Desktop -> Disgplay Control -> X -> Xorg -> 2464x900 change to 1440X900
(2464-1440 = 1024)

but taskbar still unnormal.

@melon688 It appears your laptop is using the same JWM configuration file from when the original screen was still in place. Have you tried using JWMdesk (upper menu tabs) to place the JWM tray in the new size? Make a backup first! Also, read our own Barry Kauler's "How to fiddle with JWM tray ...

I think this is "the problem of judging",
Some actions are based on 1440x900,
Some actions are based on 1280x800.
