Re: Shouldn't we be *selling* woof-CE?

With this thread, I meant to suggest adding contribution guidelines and sort of better docs to woof-CE. But due to my lack of foreseeing, I did not see that the major step would not be the above, but rather getting the rotten bits out of woof-CE, of which there exists a ton. Maybe woof-CE has finall...

Re: Virt-manager puppy live not working

Questions Which host distro and/or which VM QEMU stanzas do not give you audio, requiring you to change an environmental variable? AND, is that variable changed at the host level or is it required within the VM's distro? Basically, you need to add a -device [DEV_NAME_FOR_SOUND_DRIVER] to the comman...

Re: Virt-manager puppy live not working

Yes, Clarity 's qemu command should do it. --- The only required changes will be using the -vga std . I tend to stick with -vga virtio for some ISOs, since that allows fitting of the screen resolution to my actual screen resolution (I use a 1366x768 screen, but -vga std sets the screen size to 1280x...

Well, actually I also tried it, but it never did. There is a script inside woof-CE which allows running the ISOs through QEMU. I am not having my laptop right now, so can't send you the script; but will definitely post it here whenever I can access it. You can try running qemu by setting display to ...

Can you try the same command NOT using the OpenSSL that I uploaded?

Do you get the same result?

That was run NOT using the OpenSSL that you uploaded.

EDIT:

I get this error using your PET:

@Jasper,

Pardon me, but I don't exactly know what that command does.

I ran it in my VM.

It seems to get some information, but I am unsure if it is the one required:

You're asking about repo named puppy-*your_puppy_version*, right?

It IS normal in Linux, standard behaviour for Xorg. Whatever you copy to the clipboard only has the lifetime as long as the application you copied from is still running. Re: Bug of geany on easyos 5.7

I think this is not a bug with geany, but rather a clipboard manager is not installed.

Try doing the copy-past thing like method 1, but do it for some other window (like browser window), and see if that works.

If that also fails, you'll need a clipboard-manager.

dunst-config : fix some bugs & update to allow usage in Jammy64

While the older dunst-config (v2.2 from Fossa64) in Jammy64 as well works almost fine, I think there are few things not working. There were some bugs as well (one was specifically this one ), and other potential bugs (the script was not made to handle 'edge cases', this one covers some more of them)...

Maybe CopyQ

I have no experience with it. Just something I found by searching.

I am afraid, that one has QT as one of its dependencies - Jammy64 doesn't has QT by default. Thus, this package will be quite large.
