Re: MakeMKV No Disc to Open - [Solved]

Well, now that you know which module is needed, you can go to the Boot Manager and select the Modules tab, then select 'sg' as one of the modules to be loaded.

Re: MakeMKV No Disc to Open

Debs do and can be installed. But the result is not always perfect since its meant for the parent distribution, Ubuntu which is wholly different from ubuntu based puppies. As well, you never stated the label of the icon, when you inserted the disc into the player that was connected via USB. Also, do...

For that you'd need a wrapper script to do that. Or another utility. There's stuff on how to do this over at the Arch Linux wiki.

Re: Unsquashfs, put in different folder?

So I wanna use unsquashfs in order to take away files permanently from the sfs files. From what I understan, if one puts the unsquahed file in the same folder as the file one does the unsquashing to, then there is an issue that all files are doubled, duplicated which results in a larger file, so I ...

First, unmount your ext3 partition. Then fsck/e2fsck, your choice. Then you resize via GParted. If you still can't resize it, just create the swapfile on the partition instead and use that.

The browser should be writing inside /home/spot and not /root since the user home is there. Now if you absolutely don't want any cache to be written set the browser.offline.cache.enable property to false. If you don't want memory cache set the property browser.memory.cache.enable to false. Re: Swap file causing very slow performance?

Zoom can do just fine with these budget CPUs. Just not official support because 'super sauce' is needed to make it run. Just like with Windows 11 upping their standards A LOT. (I use a n3350) Swap files/partitions are meant as a temporary substitute for RAM. If you're seeing frequent usage or thrash...

You need to use 'apulse'. Find the firefox desktop file and edit it so its apulse firefox Or if you changed the default browser icon, edit the file to say apulse firefox (There may be an $@ which you should keep.) There are technically other routes to getting it into a desktop but all of this would be manual and extremely tedious. And maybe making mistakes. Also remove the pmedia and pdrv flag. It will make it look for something connected to a SATA port that is an 'HDD' and pdrv may also be intefering. Additi...

You do have AMD CPU right? As well it looks for this _CPC entry, so if it doesn't exist it will fallback to the one you did not want. It may also be that acpi-cpufreq starts up faster than amd-pstate meaning you need to add this:

Code: Select all

initcall_blacklist=acpi_cpufreq_init

courtage : The probable reason as to why it won't fstrim /mnt/sda1 is that you didn't mount it there, and therefore that directory is part of your savefile/folder. Directories do take up data in order to exist. It will not allow trimming or allow that to occur, because the device used to mount the ...

Freenode has stepped up their security/encryption requirement from what I recall. Now you need to connect with SSL. Unless you use ports 8000-8002.
As well the certificates may require updating. But you should be looking to connecting with libera.chat instead as it has moved there.
