Yes the Void Linux kernels are configured with nvme support. Just released a new Void Linux KLV kernel 6.9.1_1
Available now is a Void Linux kernel 6.9.1_1 with the initrd.gz, vmlinuz, 00modules-6.9.1_1.sfs and 01firmware-6.9.1_1.sfs
ready to use in any KLV variant.
Download -> KLV-void-6.9.1_1
Is it intended to be that way?
Yes.
@fredx181 Good idea, it's about time we added some gtk3 themes! Since we have @geo_c's tbox collection it will be an easy addition.
Now for some recommendations........
@fredx181 awesome fix! and @geo_c excellent discovery!
And the fix was so fast......I'll put the scripts in the next KLV's rootfs release
@wiak, @wanderer Move is Done.
@nocsak Nice!
Going to install it on a F96-CE_4 that runs Zoneminder and see how it performs!
Possibly must rename the fdrv to -> fdrv_fossapup64_9.6.sfs. For it to load correctly in F96-CE and Fossapup64's
There should be some pretty good logs in /var/log
.
For even more detailed logging, if it is possible, install socklog and start that. It will log many parts of the system and hardware operations.
@shotlike1234 Sounds like your in a tough spot.
What version of Puppy Linux are you using?
Are you planning on sharing the kernel with us as an independent download?
Of course! My mistake, I forgot to add the link in my excitement to share
Download link is the in first post!
@MochiMoppel I have to admit it wasn't the best diplomacy possible. Probably violates all known successful strategies of compromise
@dimkr Nice.....
@Grey I have no idea what the post said. I never read it or knew it even existed. I have other problems.
Grey wrote:....does not explain within 24 hours what was offensive in my post, then I will leave you too
So I pay the penalty? Sounds hurtful.
@geo_c I usually just did the conversion in a /root/Build directory, and let it rip. Then cleaned up which is not much.
I am in Boulder Colorado at the moment but will be home Saturday night!
@geo_c is a professional musician and might be around to offer advice!
Look at the different ways to remaster the system using the tools provided or available
