Re: KLA-HyprlandCE-1.3 ( stable )

Thanks @Sofiya. This ISO has a date of 30/05/2024
The md5 checksum is the same for both "a1044547cf93561fcf93b5fc6c8b7d16".

Thanks, again.

Re: Bionicpup64: Boot Issue on Older PC with USB HDD - updating initrd.gz?

Just tested this PUP launched from my Ventoy USB and from a Ventoy HDD on bare-metal and via VM. All boots to desktop without issues. Merely downloaded the BIONIC ISO file to the BOOTISOS folder on Ventoy partition, and booted the USB (or HDD that was tested). Ventoy version.jpg To direct it to a lo...

Re: Booting from refind, how to choose boot options?

@Clarity we are trying to boot directly with refind and not use GRUB2 at all. Why use a boot loader to load another boot loader. Each has different strengths and weaknesses. Top I know what you are trying. But I also know what our Linux world offers for our use that attempts to eliminate boot-time ...

Would an upgrade to Grub2 (now version 2.12) address this discovered issue for this PC's newer hardware? Reason asked: This started with a report when v901 was booted on this PC. Then, the approach being used to address the problem via a circumvention to the normal boot. I have reported success on o...

My observations: When this started it my involvement was always about achieving file transfers "without installing anything". This ability has been around in various OSes since 1994. Along with MS's implementaion, SAMBA has been a phenom in Linux-Unix since 1994. In my historical 4 Puppy d...
