Get their respective /var/log/Xorg.0.log file, conf files located at /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d, and files located at /var/hwdata then upload that files here. This I wi...

What if I conducted a gpu survey. Would you like to join? The goal here was to count the gpu used by the puppy community. This will provide better insight of hardware support for Puppy. How will it works: It simply a simple shell script will get the vendor id and device id of gpu installed on the co...

Pazzo Does your test laptop have synaptics touchpad? udev shouldn't be update. But anyways, I'll try to fix that issue. TazWeb is a very simple browser like Dillo. Hi Mistfire, I've got here because of a reply you did on a Slitaz forum. Coincidently enough, I've been trying both Slitaz and Puppy (also many other light distros) on a few different hardwares. So I was a bit excited to see a mix of Slitaz+Puppy. Good job on that! But I'm having a hard time with i...

For grub press E to edit the boot entry then press F10 to boot

Re: How to rebuild an older Puppy to boot in UEFI computer?

Rebuild older puppy to boot on UEFI? There is some changes to be made. 1. Xvesa and Xorg vesa drivers won't work on UEFI because of BIOS 10H interrupt doesn't exist on UEFI. You must force to run Xorg using fbdev driver. 2. Its puppy installer and old grub don't ever work for internal storage instal...
